From a young age, Dr. Azzouz knew his purpose in life was to care for the most vulnerable—children. His journey in medicine began at Damascus University, where he laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong mission to heal, nurture, and protect. Determined to expand his expertise, he traveled across the world to complete his internship and residency at St. John’s Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, followed by an intensive three-year fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine at St. Louis University in Missouri.
For years, Dr. Azzouz worked in the high-stakes world of neonatal intensive care, spending sleepless nights caring for the tiniest and most fragile lives. During his five years at TC Thompson Children's Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he became a steadfast guardian for premature infants, special needs children, and critically ill newborns.
Driven by this calling, Dr. Azzouz founded Bright Pediatrics, a place where every child is treated with the same dedication and expertise he has spent decades refining. With hospital privileges at TC Thompson Children’s at Erlanger Women’s East, Erlanger, and Parkridge Hospital in Tennessee, he continues to advocate for children’s health, offering expert pediatric care from infancy through adolescence.
With over two decades of experience as a Board-Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he continues to advocate for children’s health, offering expert pediatric care from infancy through adolescence.
