Our Staff

Dr.DeWeese is a Board Certified Pediatrician from Donalsonville Georgia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Mercer University in Macon Georgia where she graduated with honors. She went on to complete medical school at Virginia College of Osteopathic medicine at Virginia Tech where she graduated with Presidents Honors and completed her Pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston South Carolina. Upon completing her residency she returned to her hometown where she worked in primary Pediatrics for 6 years before joining Bright Pediatrics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics where she serves on the Georgia Chapter Board as the North Georgia representative.

Dr. DeWeese’s special interest include primary prevention of disease and promoting healthy habits at a young age.
